As we enter the summer of 2021 there is still a level of uncertainty regarding how Rotary continues to offer the connections between people that Rotary members have appreciated previously. Although the mantra of "hands-face-space" is certain to become part of routine in our organization, it's clear that trust is growing and there are more face-to -face connections. Rotary has certainly changed. While we are in the summer months of 2021 there remains a continuing level of uncertainty regarding how our work with society will include the much-valued human connection experienced by Rotary members of the past. While the traditional 'hands in faces will certainly continue to be a component of our program, it's clear that the confidence building is evident and connections between face-to-face occur. Rotary has also changed. Rotary network helps to create lasting friendships. To ensure that we can continue to hold our meetings online, we've reintroduced service as well as social events in a safe meeting room. We've embraced the newest possibilities and merged them with the best of our habits for preventing pandemics to provide an optimistic future for Rotary! It is a great feeling to know of the fact that Rotary Centre continues to support the communities of Great Britain and Ireland, Rotary Centre continues to support various community-based projects that benefit the participants of Rotary and ensure their safety, compliance and Insurance is essential. It is incredible to see how members of our club have developed innovative ways to solve many of the toughest challenges. I'm grateful for the fact that Rotary allowed me to join the club in 2002. Rotary gave me, like it has provided many others, with a network of trustworthy like-minded individuals from whom I've made genuine connections over the past 20 years.
